In New York, everything moves fast. Here, you move with intention.
We’re here for the people who want more than a workout. A space to breathe, release stress, and reconnect — while still building strength. Through yoga, Pilates, and restorative practices, Alma helps you regulate your nervous system and feel more grounded, on and off the mat.

Our Story
Alma Yoga was created from lived experience. After experiencing the fast pace of New York City, we wanted to create a space where people could slow down, breathe, and reconnect with themselves.
What began as a personal practice became a studio built around something deeper: movement with intention, strength without intensity, and a more grounded way to practice in Midtown.
Our Approach
To create a New York City studio that feels different — one that supports not just the body, but also the mind. A place to slow down, build sustainable strength, and experience a deeper sense of connection.
Why Alma Feels Different
We are not a high-intensity fitness studio. Alma is a place for people who want something more intentional: thoughtful classes, personal guidance, and a calm environment above the pace of the city.
Small groups. Non-heated practice. Movement, regulation, and connection.

Meet Our Founder
Rosanna
Founder, Alma Yoga
Alma wasn’t created as a concept, it came from a real need to slow down.Living in New York, I experienced how easy it is to stay in constant motion, physically, mentally, and emotionally. For a long time, movement felt like something to push through. It wasn’t until I found a more intentional way of practicing that things began to shift.
My approach to teaching comes from that experience. I don’t believe practice needs to be rushed or intense to be meaningful. I focus on helping people move with awareness, regulate their nervous system, and feel more connected to themselves in a real, sustainable way.
Alma is an extension of that — a small, calm space above the pace of the city, where practice is not about performance, but about coming back to yourself.
